Sizing At Missie Moosie we strive to, and pride ourselves, on creating clothing that will fit your children, and have a lot of versatility when they are wearing it.
Our sizing is as follows: 12 months, 18 months, 2/3, 4/5 , 6, 7/8 and 9/10. We design clothing that will last, and that your children can wear for multiple seasons. The pants and skirts have elastic waists to allow for grow room; pants and skirts would simply be shorter (capris, shorter skirts) as your child grows. In addition, the tops and dresses are styled to also allow for grow room, and the styles are such that you can add a shirt or long sleeve top for wear through multiple seasons.
When ordering, I would recommend ordering the size that your child typically wears for most pieces; if they wear a 4 or 4T, buy the 4/5; if they are in a 3 or 3T, order the 2/3. These are only recommendations however, so please check the sizing specs below (chart is for the Bohemian Bloom Line) in order to better help you make an informed purchase,as each child is built different, and clothing can fit very differently on several children that are in the same size.
In addition, many of the pieces may run slightly bigger, and we will note that in the description, so you might be able to size down. Also, it is important to note the pieces (even if they are the same) will vary in their sizing from season to season as we continue to work on sizing/fit, so it is important to check the measurement specs. NOTE THAT THE BOHEMIAN BLOOM DOUBLE RUFFLES ARE RUNNING ABOUT A 1/2 INCH SHORTER AT THE OUTSEAM THAN THE OTHER RUFFLES: MEASUREMENT SPECS ARE FOR THE DENIM AND VELOUR RUFFLES All knit fabrics used in creating the garments are not preshrunk, and so will shrink about a 3/4-1 inch in the washer, and will shrink a lot more if you wash and dry in the dryer, so for that reason we recommend washing cool and hanging to dry for best care. If you have any questions about sizing, please contact me, and I will be happy to answer any questions that you have. Thank you for shopping with Missie Moosie.
